As specialists in the Design and Installation of renewable energy systems, the process of evaluating and implementing a new system is as follows:
- Designing renewable energy systems involves a site evaluation, an energy analysis, review of energy goals and direction, and equipment specification. The site evaluation provides information regarding solar and wind potential and a review of ordinances and permit requirements. The energy analysis looks at the energy mix of the property, and identifies opportunities for renewable energy integration. Discussions with homeowners, facilities managers, and business owners provide insight into the philosophical direction driving the client’s renewable energy ambitions. Further, these discussions create parameters for structuring the renewable energy system.
- Installation of the renewable energy system includes scheduling the project, arranging sub-contractors when applicable, and coordinating the installation process on site. Upon completion of the installation, the system will be checked for safety, and commissioned.
- The customer will be provided a complete structural walk-through of the system. Instruction as to proper start-up and shut-down procedures will be reviewed, and a system manual will be provided to aid the individual in basic system operation.
In addition to new systems, we service and repair existing systems. Most service work done today is on systems installed in the early 1980's.
